Powder coating

The application of powder coating requires special equipment consisting of various processing machines which make up a whole called powder coating installation. An installation consists of the following basic stages:

  • Conveyor system for products to be painted
  • Chemical pretreatment stage before coating
  • Applying the powder coating onto the surface
  • Polymerization of powder

Powder coating booths

Our company manufactures various types of booths. Manual, automatic, and automatic fast color changing. They are divided into booths: open-type spraying walls, booths with filters, booths with cyclone, antistatic fast color changing, and MEGA type.
*KIGO designs and manufactures the cabins according to the requirements of its customers.

Powder Centers

Powder centers are manufactured to provide automatic powder feed during coating, ease, and fast cleaning when changing color in the booth. Depending on the application, we choose the appropriate one among the following models.

Powder coating guns

* Liquid paint drying ovens are manufactured on ATEX basis when the use of solvents may cause a fire.

After Filters

For the absorption of powder in powder coating booths we use a suction machine with filters. These filters have the property of holding powder on their surface. For this reason, all KIGO suction machines have an automatic cleaning system that uses compressed air to clean the filters. The proper operation of the absorbent as well as its scheduled maintenance according to KIGO's instructions, offer safe and perfect operation in the long run.

Monocyclone

The monocyclone achieves the separation of the powder by grain size. The powder of suitable grin size is returned back to the coating system and the powder of improper grain size is rejected and sent to the suction machine. The returned powder is sieved through a sieve located at the bottom of the cyclone and is properly made for quick cleaning.

Sieves

The small particles contained in the powder are removed only by sieving. Sieving is done with a vibrating sieve. An automatic monocyclone powder recirculation system features a sieve for the powder before it returns to the powder hopper.
Powder sieve PS 1202
In a system that does not have a sieve monocycle, the powder must be sieved before reuse. KIGO's PS 1202 sieve offers flexibility. Use it daily for all powders, even metallic ones.
